Home Barista Level 2 - Course description

We delve deep into the coffee matter right from the start. This is absolutely not a course for beginners, but is intended for the home barista who already has a lot of experience and knowledge in the area of grinder adjustment and extraction.

What temperature does which coffee require, how much coffee and how much water and the whole thing in what extraction time? It is precisely these topics that will be completely revisited and developed. Each participant develops the perfect brewing recipe for a variety of coffees.

Together we get the best out of every coffee.

The sensory properties of the coffee are not neglected either. A wide variety of qualities are tasted in order to understand what high-quality coffee is. We also take a look at a wide variety of processing methods such as semi-washed, anaerobic fermentation and honey. This in theory and practice.

Of course, the topic of latte art is not neglected either. We work on the perfect milk foam and not only try to pour hearts, but also create tulips and other patterns.

You can also take your own machine with you on this course. We would also recommend this for this course so that you can implement the new knowledge directly with your material.

What previous knowledge do I need for Home Barista Level 2?

The course is aimed at the ambitious home barista who wants to get the best out of every coffee. Previous knowledge through a home barista course and an understanding of brewing recipes are mandatory.
