Felix' World Championship Espresso for Milk Drinks Backup Coffee
Our Felix became German Barista Champion on February 27, 2024.
As German Champion, Felix qualified for the World Championship, which took place from May 1-4 in Busan, South Korea.
Here you have the chance to get hold of a bag from the small remaining stock of his World Championship coffees. This bourbon from Nicaragua is the espresso he used for the milk drink at the German Championships and was taken with him to Korea as a backup coffee . This coffee is sent as a coffee letter and can only be ordered individually.
The proceeds from the sale of this exclusive remaining stock will help finance Felix’s participation in the World Championships in South Korea .

Post-harvest process: anaerobically fermented as a cherry and then naturally dried
Variety: Bourbon Tekisic
Felix finds the following flavors: sweet and floral notes. Plum, melted white chocolate and chocolate
Drink description: The espresso shot was poured with 50 ml of frothed fresh lactose-free milk. The milk was reduced by 50% beforehand. The temperature of the frothed milk was 50° Celsius.
Roasting date: 18.04.204 - perfect drinking maturity

Maria Eugenia Herrera lives with her husband, both over 70 years old, in Nicaragua. Whenever they are needed on their small farm, where the coffee plants grow between bananas and other trees in an agroforest, they make the 1.5-hour journey on their motorbike.
Felix drank this coffee for the first time in Nicaragua in January 2024 and was immediately convinced that he had drunk his championship coffee here.
