Felix' Master Espresso for milk drinks
Our Felix became German Barista Champion on February 27th, 2024. We are very happy. Here you have the chance to grab a bag from the small remaining stock of his championship coffees. This bourbon from Nicaragua is his used espresso for the milk drink. You can find the coffee he used as espresso here .
As German champion, Felix qualified for the world championship. The income from the sale of this exclusive remaining inventory will help finance Felix's participation in the World Championships on May 1-4, 2024 in Busan, South Korea .
Coffee information
Post-harvest process: anaerobically fermented as cherries and then dried as natural
Variety: Bourbon Tekisic
Felix finds the following flavor notes: sweet and floral notes. Plum, melted white chocolate and chocolate
Drink description: The espresso shot was poured with 50 ml of frothed fresh lactose-free milk. The milk was reduced by 50% in advance. The temperature of the foamed milk was 50° Celsius.
Roasting date: February 14th, 2024 - perfect for drinking
Coffee origin
Maria Eugenia Herrera lives in Nicaragua with her husband, both over 70 years old. Whenever they are needed on their small farm, where the coffee plants grow among bananas and other trees in an agroforestry, they make the 1.5 hour journey on their motorbike.
Felix drank this coffee for the first time in Nicaragua in January 2024 and was immediately convinced that he had drunk his championship coffee here.

Felix (right) and our David (left) can be seen in the photo. David won an excellent 2nd place in the Brewers Cup discipline at the German Championships. In addition, David was Felix's sparring partner (and vice versa) during the preparation.
