Home Barista Level 2 - Course Description

We delve deep into the subject of coffee right from the start. This is definitely not a beginner's course, but is intended for the home barista who already has some experience and knowledge in the area of grinder settings and extraction.

What temperature does each coffee need, how much coffee with how much water and how long does it take to extract it? These are the exact topics that will be covered and worked on again. Each participant will develop the perfect brewing recipe for a variety of coffees.

Together we get the best out of every coffee.

The sensory aspects of coffee are also not neglected. Different qualities are tasted to understand what high-quality coffee is. We also take a look at different processing methods such as semi-washed, anaerobic fermentation and honey. This in theory and practice.

Of course, the topic of latte art is not neglected either. We work on the perfect milk foam and not only try to pour hearts, but also create tulips and other patterns.

You can also bring your own machine to this course. We would recommend this for this course so that you can implement the new knowledge directly with your equipment.

Important information: of course we will check the offset setting (temperature setting) of your portafilter machine with you in this course and adjust it if possible.

What previous knowledge do I need for Home Barista Level 2?

The course is aimed at ambitious home baristas who want to get the best out of every coffee. Previous knowledge from a home barista course and an understanding of brewing recipes are mandatory.

Homebarista Niveau 2

Inhaltlich blieben keine Fragen offen.
