The setting of the mill, the right water and the advantages and disadvantages of various machines for the home are discussed. You will get to know the most important coffee drinks (espresso, cappuccino, American). The elementary topic of cleaning the machine is also on the program. The aim of the course is for you to get to know your machine better or to make a good purchase decision for a new machine.

Home Barista Short and Strong - Course Description
In 2.5 hours, our course participants learn the most important techniques for operating an espresso machine for home use. The setting of the mill, the right water and the advantages and disadvantages of various machines for the home are discussed. You will learn about the most important coffee drinks (espresso, cappuccino, Americano) and how to brew them yourself. The elementary topic of cleaning the machine is also on the program. The aim of the course is for you to get to know your machine better or to make a good purchase decision for a new machine. The foaming of latte art milk is only demonstrated briefly and foamed together once.
Unlike our full-day Home Barista course, you cannot bring your own machines to this course. Instead, we work on our home barista bar with a machine made by us.
What previous knowledge do I need for Home Barista Short and Strong?
The course is aimed at interested individuals, ambitious hobby baristas, cooking enthusiasts, wine connoisseurs and lovers of fine coffee. For a short and strong introduction to the coffee matter. No prior knowledge is necessary for this course.
Home Barista Short and Strong - Course Instructor
Andrea Leandro Perin has worked as a barista for several years, knows various coffee and restaurant concepts from his own experience and has trained many service employees as a trainer in recent years. He knows many home machines from the technology to the perfect extractions. At Kaffeemacher:innen he is a course leader for home barista and barista courses.
Michel Indelicato is the head of our coffee school and a member of the management team at Kaffeemacher GmbH. The trained chef is now a Q-Arabica grader, roaster and coffee trainer. In his more than ten years of working in coffee, he has successfully founded a coffee roasting company and supported numerous cafés and roasting companies in setting up and optimizing their processes.
