Important details about capacity
The capacity of the sieves depends on the coffee used. In order to make the result as transparent as possible for you, we used our APAS Espresso and came up with the values mentioned above.
When using the APAS, 17-19g can be used in the two-sieve. For example, when using an Ascaso portafilter machine, it is more like 18-19g because the brewing group is relatively deep. When using a Quickmill Rubino, however, 20g is no problem.
Why do we sell these sieves?
Many espresso machines are good in terms of the system, but differ in the finishing and details. Far too often, savings are made on the tamper , the shower and, unfortunately, also on the sieves. We therefore equip all espresso machines that we use ourselves with our KM professional sieves of size 24mm as standard. around.
The conversion of the sieve is almost self-explanatory. As with cleaning the portafilter, the existing sieve in the portafilter is removed and the new one inserted. Done.
