Which portafilter machines do these sieves fit into?
Compatible machine types: Ascaso, Astoria, Bezzera, Bfc, Bianchi, Brasilia, Cont, DID Orchestrale, E61, ECM, Elektra, Expobar, Faema, Fiorenzato, Fracino, Grimac, Iberital, Kees Van Der Westen, La Marzocco, La Nuova Era, La Pavoni, La Scala, Magister, Nuova Simonelli, Promac, Quality Espresso, Rancilio, Rocket, Royal First, SAB, Sanremo, Slayer, SV, Synesso, VFA, Vibiemme, Victoria Arduino, Wega
Important details about capacity:
The capacity of the sieves depends on the coffee used. To make the results as transparent as possible for you, we used our APAS Espresso and arrived at the values listed above.
When using the APAS , 17-19g of ground coffee can be used in the two-cup sieve. For example, when using an Ascaso portafilter machine, 18-19g is more likely, as the brewing group is positioned relatively low. When using a Quickmill Rubino, however, 20g is no problem.
Why do we sell these sieves?
Many espresso machines are technically sound, but differ in the finish and details. Far too often, cost-cutting is done on the tamper , the shower head , and unfortunately, even the sieves. Therefore, we equip all our espresso machines with our KM professional sieves (size 24 mm) as standard. around.
Changing the sieve is almost self-explanatory. Just like cleaning the portafilter, the existing sieve is removed and the new one inserted. Done.
