Important details regarding capacity:

The capacity of the filter baskets depends on the coffee used. To make the result as transparent as possible for you, we used our APAS Espresso to determine the values mentioned above.

When using the APAS , 17-19g works well in the double filter basket. For example, when using an Ascaso portafilter machine, it is more like 18-19g because the brew group sits relatively deep. By contrast, when using a Quickmill Rubino, 20g is no problem at all.

Why do we sell these filter baskets?

Many espresso machines are well-designed but show differences in final finishing and details. Far too often, savings are made on the tamper, the shower screen and, unfortunately, the filter baskets too. This is why we upgrade all the espresso machines we use ourselves to our KM Professional 24mm filter baskets as standard.

Replacing the filter basket is almost self-explanatory. Just like cleaning the portafilter, you remove the existing basket and insert the new one. Done.
