What a championship year. Felix is runner-up in coffee roasting.
The first Swiss Roasting Championship took place in Zug and Münchenstein over the past few days. Of course, we were there. Our all-rounder Felix , roaster and barista, joined the field. And the result?! Second place! Swiss Vice Roasting Champion!
We're overwhelmed. Our roastery has been in existence for just over a year. Of course, we bring with us many years of coffee and roasting experience. And yet, what's happened this year is almost unbelievable and overwhelming. Last year, we roasted the second-best coffee at Coffee in Good Spirits for Fabio Salerno. Earlier this year, Felix roasted the coffee for the Barista Championship for himself and for his brother Benjamin, who participated in the Brewers Cup. Both finished as runners-up .
And then came the sensation, which even caused an international stir. Felix roasted the winning coffee of the Polish Barista Championship for Agniezska Rojewska.
Now we're closing the championship year. Second-best roastery in Switzerland at the roasting championship. We also had by far the best blend and, together with André Strittmatter, the best green grading. We look forward with joy and are already looking forward to the next roast.
