What a championship year. Felix is Vice Champion in Coffee Roasting.
The first Swiss Roasting Championship took place in Zug and Münchenstein in the past few days. Of course, we were there. Our all-rounder Felix, roaster and barista, threw himself into the competition. And the result?! Second place! Swiss Vice Roasting Champion!!
We are overwhelmed. Our roastery has been around for just over a year. Of course, we bring many years of experience in coffee and roasting with us. And yet. What has happened this year is almost unbelievable and overwhelming. Last year, we roasted the second-best coffee for Fabio Salerno at Coffee in Good Spirits. At the beginning of the year, Felix roasted the coffee for himself for the Barista Championship, as well as for his brother Benjamin, who participated in the Brewers Cup. Both became Vice Champions.
And then came the sensation that even attracted international attention. Felix roasted the winning coffee for Agniezska Rojewska at the Polish Barista Championship.
Now we are closing the championship year. Second-best roastery in Switzerland at the Roasting Championship. Also, by far the best blend and, together with André Strittmatter, the best green grading. We look forward with joy and are already excited about the next roast.
