Sieves 51mm - Compatible with Delonghi Dedica EC685/785/885 & Others
These high-quality 51mm stainless steel sieves are ideal for use in the DeLonghi Dedica EC685, EC785, and EC885, as well as other portafilter machines with a 51mm diameter. Two versions are available:
- 20mm height – Ready for use in the original portafilter
- 25mm height – Requires adjustment (removal of the black insert in the portafilter)
Variants at a glance:
20mm sieve:
- Filling quantity: Ideal for 12.5g of ground coffee with our APAS Espresso
- Use: Perfect for a single espresso
- Compatibility: Can be used directly in the original portafilter of the DeLonghi Dedica without modifications
- Preparation recommendation: ratio 1:2.5 in 25 seconds (12.5g APAS results in 31g espresso in the cup)
- Suitable for: Bottomless portafilter or double spout portafilter
25mm sieve:
- Filling quantity: For 16g of ground coffee with our APAS Espresso , ideal for a double espresso or two single espressos
- Insert: Not directly compatible with the original Dedica portafilter – the black insert must be removed
- Compatibility: After adjustment in the original portafilter or directly in the bottomless or double spout portafilter usable
- Preparation recommendation: ratio 1:2.5 in 25 seconds (approx. 40g double espresso in the cup)
Note for Delonghi EC 940 Maestro Plus: Both sieve variants fit directly into the original portafilter without any adjustments.
