Timemore C5 ESP PRO Hand Grinder
Maximum control: 0.015 mm per click
Product details:
- Finest espresso setting: The "Numbered Espresso Dial v2" is a numbered adjustment ring with click points. Each click changes the grind size by 0.015 mm, with a total of 50 clicks per revolution – for finely adjustable and reproducible espresso settings.
- 42 mm S2C burr set: Conical S2C-042-III burrs made of hardened stainless steel. The extended grinding path ensures uniform grounds, high extraction, and a clear cup, especially with lighter roasts.
- Espresso-focused, yet versatile: Designed for espresso and Moka pot, with recommended setting ranges also provided for pour-over and French press. Ideal if your focus is espresso, but you occasionally brew pour-over as well.
- Stable axle support: Precision bearings with tight tolerances hold the axle in position and minimize burr wobble. This supports a consistent particle distribution and thus reproducible results.
- Full metal housing with good grip: Unibody construction made of aluminum alloy, metal handle, and textured surface. The grinder sits securely in the hand and is designed for regular use.
- Stable base: The silicone base stabilizes the grinder and dampens noise.
- Capacity: Up to 25 g of beans, ideal for single and double shots.
- Easy, dry cleaning: Thanks to the drop-out design, the burr set can be removed from the bottom and cleaned with a brush without completely disassembling the grinder.
- Included: 1x Timemore Chestnut C5 ESP Pro hand grinder

Why do we sell the Timemore C5 ESP Pro?
We tested the Timemore grinders as a competitively priced, technically strong alternative to high-end hand grinders. The C5 ESP Pro convinced us mainly due to two points:
- Fine, reproducible settings for espresso: 0.015 mm per click makes it much easier to find a grind setting again once you have found it and to make small adjustments.
- Good manufacturing quality for the price: Full-metal body, precision bearings, and the new 42 mm burrs deliver a grind result that can easily compete with many mid-range electric grinders in everyday use.
For everyone looking for a manual espresso grinder with plenty of control and who doesn't want to jump straight into the top price segment, the Timemore Chestnut C5 ESP Pro is, in our view, a very exciting option.
