• PID temperature control in 0.5 °C increments: Adjustable in fine 0.5 °C increments in the range of 40 °C – 98 °C. The PID control (temp X) controls the heating power and maintains the target temperature in warming mode within approximately ±0.5 °C, according to the manufacturer.
• Quick to brewing temperature: The temp X technology adjusts the power in real-time to water volume, altitude, and ambient conditions. This means the Fish Pro X heats up approximately 10% faster than the previous Fish Pro, according to the manufacturer.
• Gooseneck spout for precise flow: The narrow spout allows for a stable, easily controllable water stream – from a slow pour for blooming to a more powerful pour for turbulent phases. This facilitates even extraction during pour-over and ensures clean pouring without drips.
• Protection against boiling over and dry boiling: The Fish Pro X calculates the actual boiling point depending on altitude and switches off automatically before the water boils over. Dry-boil protection detects missing or insufficient water before heating.
• Grooveboard operation: Use the Grooveboard to set the target temperature via a touch slider and adjust it with the +/- buttons. The control panel displays the current temperature, target temperature, and keep-warm function.
• Ergonomic handle with thumb rest: The conical handle with thumb rest supports a natural hand and forearm position.
