• PID temperature control in 0.5 °C increments: Adjustable in precise 0.5 °C increments between 40 °C and 98 °C. The PID controller (temp X) regulates the heating power and, according to the manufacturer, maintains the target temperature within approximately ±0.5 °C in hold mode.
• Reaches brewing temperature quickly: The temp X technology adjusts power in real-time based on water volume, altitude, and ambient conditions. As a result, the manufacturer states the Fish Pro X heats up approximately 10% faster than the previous Fish Pro.
• Gooseneck spout for precise flow: The narrow spout allows for a stable, easily controllable water stream—from a slow pour for blooming to a stronger pour for turbulent phases. This facilitates even extraction during pour-over brewing and ensures a clean pour without dripping.
• Boil-dry and overheat protection: The Fish Pro X calculates the actual boiling point based on altitude and shuts off automatically before the water boils over. A dry-boil protection feature detects if there is no water or insufficient water before heating begins.
• Grooveboard operation: You can set the target temperature via the Grooveboard using a touch slider and adjust it with the +/- buttons. The control panel displays the current temperature, target temperature, and hold function status.
• Ergonomic handle with thumb rest: The conical handle with a thumb rest supports a natural hand and forearm position.
