Der Dosierring 58 mm sitzt auf dem Sieb im Siebträger und leitet frisch gemahlenes Kaffeemehl sauber hinein, ohne dass etwas daneben fällt. Praktisch wird er vor allem dann, wenn du nicht direkt in den Siebträger mahlst, sondern erst in einen Becher dosierst und dann umfüllst, oder wenn du das Mehl mit einem WDT-Tool verteilst.

The dosing ring sits on the portafilter during dosing and distribution, keeping the coffee grounds within the basket edge instead of spreading them across the work surface. Once the grounds are evenly distributed, it's removed, then you tamp as usual.

The inner diameter of 58 mm fits portafilters in gastro format, such as E61 groups. Made from aluminum so it remains dimensionally stable during daily handling. At 29 mm height, there's still enough clearance at the top even with a more generous dose.
