Coffea Futurica Podcast: Johanna Jacobi, ETH Zurich, on the agroecological transition

What consequences does climate change have for coffee production, for people, for the beverage, and indeed for the entire industry?

Anyone who listens to Johanna Jacobi from ETZ Zurich realizes that we cannot bring about sustainable change in isolation. "We need complex solutions for complex problems," says the professor of agroecological transitions.

Johanna's research area is broad, ranging from biology to geography, agronomy to anthropology. With this broad perspective, she analyzes the coffee industry and sees change as possible if everyone participates and the supply chains are organized more democratically.

Coffee is part of climate change . We can all help decide whether it's more of a part of the solution or a part of the problem.
