What would need to happen? Design would need to be integrated into a product's development process much earlier (...) And they would need to have a seat at the C-level.
Roberto Inderbitzin is an industrial designer who loves coffee. So much so, that he has even designed coffee machines. Design, he says, should be involved much earlier in the process when a new product is being planned. Because that way, design could help make products even better and more sustainable.
I talk to Roberto about what designers actually do, why many coffee shops look the same these days, and why the design of old Italian coffee machines is still popular today.
