Three Swiss lease 770ha of land in Zambia and are now making coffee. Is that megalomania?
What kind of people are behind such a project?
Where does the desire to do something no one has done before come from?
And why do they do it?
I spoke with Luca and Fridolin, two of the three managing directors. Luca was with me in the studio in Basel, Fridolin joined us from Zambia.
This podcast consists of three parts:
- First, Luca and I talk about the motivation behind the Mt Sunzu Project.
- Then, we check in with Fridolin to hear how they are implementing it technically.
- Finally, we hear from Luca again, who explains what kind of coffee they are producing and who might buy it.
