Needle tool / WDT - for espresso preparation

The needle tool consists of an aluminum housing with 8 removable needles made of food-safe 304 stainless steel, which ensure an even and effective distribution of the coffee grounds. While many needle tools offer only 3 to 5 needles, our tool impresses with a total of 8 needles – for even better control and more efficiency.

• Needle dimensions: Each needle has a visible length of 6 cm and a diameter of 0.4 mm, ideal for the precise processing of your coffee grounds.
• Practical scope of delivery: Included in the set are the needle tool, a sturdy stand, and a plastic container with 5 replacement needles – in case one needle gets lost or damaged.

Important note: The needle tool is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.

Cleaning instructions:

Not dishwasher safe: Do not clean the needle tool in the dishwasher and do not use cleaning agents.

Easy care: Simply wipe the tool with a slightly damp or dry cloth.

Why do we sell this needle tool?

The needle tool is a great tool for creating more even espresso extractions from an espresso machine. Espresso-fine ground coffee beans tend to clump. With the needle tool, these clumps in the portafilter can be easily and quickly broken up. Homogeneous grounds help to avoid channeling. After using the needle tool, the coffee grounds are tamped, and then the portafilter can be locked into the espresso machine for extraction.
