Dear Kaficionados,
we invite you to our Open Day at our House of Coffee in Basel on May 28, 2022.
From 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., a diverse program with all kinds of activities awaits you. We will guide you through our roastery, taste different coffees together, and open the Home Barista Bar with a variety of espresso machines for you to try out.
Our team will be on site, giving talks about the world of coffee and practicing Latte Art with you in mini-workshops.
Location: Güterstrasse 140, 200 meters from SBB train station.
When: May 28 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Program of the day
Roasting sessions of 30 minutes at 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Latte Art Session of 30 minutes at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

2:00 p.m. - "Goals and activities of the Kaffeemacher:innen" with Benjamin
3:00 p.m. - "Somaho Coffee from Rwanda" with Vania
4:30 p.m. - "How roasteries are changing the world" with Philipp
6:00 p.m. - "Which espresso machine is right for me?" with Michel
What else is happening?
We, the Kaffeemacher:innen team, will be on site and look forward to many conversations, seeing old faces again and meeting new ones for the first time.
Our shop team will open its doors and be on site with all kinds of materials.
Numerous home espresso machines will be available and can be tried out accompanied by Michel and his team.
At the Brew Station, Benjamin awaits you with a cupping competition. An Ascaso Steel Duo PID is up for grabs, a filter set from BWT and a Timemore hand grinder.
In the courtyard, we will set up small food bikes and a bar.
