Victoria Arduino Eagle One Prima in the test

The Victoria Arduino Eagle One Prima was the first dual boiler machine in our test series. It impresses with its elegant appearance, robustness, and weight. In the production of the espresso machine, catering components were consistently used, which also makes the machine interesting for catering events or smaller gastronomic businesses. We particularly like that the machine has up to half the power consumption compared to other dual boiler machines. We measured a consumption of 0.3 kWh after one hour.

In our temperature test, the Victoria Arduino Eagle One Prima was relatively stable. Temperatures fluctuated between 0.6 and 1 degree from the average brewing temperature. It should be noted that there are heat exchanger espresso machines and also thermoblock machines that are more precise for a single shot. The Eagle One plays to its strengths more in continuous use.

The milk foam performance is powerful and impressed our tester Michel Aeschbacher. Especially starting and stopping the frothing by pressing a button adds speed and precision to frothing, as a rotary knob no longer has to be painstakingly opened or closed.

With the Eagle One Prima App, temperature and pre-infusion can be comfortably controlled. Other functions supplement the scope. We did not like the drip tray at all, which is very small and difficult to remove from the machine. Quite a drip hazard! The machine is probably intended for connection to a drain pipe. However, the corresponding hole would have to be drilled retrospectively.
