The Victoria Arduino Eagle One Prima was the first dual-boiler machine in our test series. It impresses with its elegant look, robustness, and weight. In the manufacturing of this espresso machine, professional catering components were used throughout, which also makes the machine interesting for catering applications or smaller commercial establishments. We particularly like that the machine has a power consumption that is in some cases half that of other dual-boiler machines. We measured a consumption of 0.3 kWh after one hour.

In our temperature test, the Victoria Arduino Eagle One Prima was relatively stable. Temperatures fluctuated between 0.6 and 1 degree from the average brewing temperature. It should be noted that there are heat exchanger espresso machines and also thermoblocks that do this more accurately per shot. The Eagle One plays to its strengths more in continuous use.

The milk foam performance is powerful and delighted our tester Michel Aeschbacher. In particular, starting and stopping the steaming at the touch of a button brings speed and precision to the foaming process, as there is no longer a need to tediously turn a dial on or off.
The temperature and pre-infusion can be conveniently controlled with the Eagle One Prima app. Further functions round off the scope. We really did not like the drip tray, which is very small and difficult to remove from the machine. Quite a high risk of spilling! The machine is likely intended more for connection to a drain pipe. However, the corresponding hole would have to be drilled retrospectively.
