Why do we sell the Timemore C3 ESP Pro?
The Timemore C3 ESP pro is a powerful all-rounder. It covers everything from fine grinds for espresso to coarser grinds for filter coffee and all other preparation methods. What we really like about this grinder is its grinding speed . It takes about a minute to grind the beans for a double espresso. The foldable handle also eliminates the need to store the handle and grinder separately.
CAUTION: Do not use the hand grinder on click settings where a grinding noise is audible. This will damage your grinder.

Application, adjustment and care
What to do if there is static charge in the regrind container?
If static electricity builds up in the ground coffee container or if coffee grounds get stuck to the top of the grinder, we have a solution. After grinding, loosen the bean container just half a turn and tap it twice with your hand from below. The coffee will be released from the top of the grinder, leaving the grounds neatly in the container.

Click setting too coarse or too fine?
Can't find the right click setting for your coffee and your desired recipe, because one click setting is too fine, but the next is too coarse? There are two solutions.
1. Working with a half-click. To do this, you set the click wheel, with a little finesse, between two click levels. We reliably use this method in our German academy.
2. You choose a grind that's a bit too coarse. Increase the coffee quantity by 0.5-1g and adjust your extraction ratio accordingly.
Adjusting the C3 hand mill from Timemore
- First, the mill must be unscrewed.
- Now set the click wheel to "0" by turning the click wheel clockwise until it stops.
- The click wheel is then turned counterclockwise the required number of clicks to set the correct grinding level for the desired preparation method.
- In our test, we achieved a good result for filter coffee at 41 clicks and for espresso at 23 clicks.
- When determining the grind size, we recommend making a quick note of the settings you tested in order to achieve a good result more quickly.
